Study on the Adsorption of Methylene Blue from Dye Wastewater by Humulus Japonicus Leaves

This paper took the objective of preparing high-performance, low-cost biological adsorbent for printing and dyeing wastewater, adsorption experiment dyestuff wastewater with high chromaticity biodegradability was studied. The Methylene Blue adsorbed by prepared Humulus Japonicus Leaves (HJ), effects time, pH, dosage adsorbent, initial concentration temperature on process were investigated, mechanism described isotherm, thermodynamics kinetics, results showed that: when HJ added 0.15g ph 7, 30°C (303K), carried out 20min, simulated dye efficiency 100mg/l excellent, rate reached up to 92%, equilibrium positively correlated CV dye. leaves Gibbs free energy ΔG<0, ΔH>0, ΔS>0 spontaneous process, Blu more suitable Freundlich isothermal equation, kinetics accorded quasi two level kinetic model, molecule chemically as control step, mainly surface leaves; model internal diffusion that there membrane in adsorption. experimental can effectively remove from research provide a new method idea treatment wastewater.
